What we offer
What does independent advice really mean?
The UK agronomic advice market is split between serviced-based agronomy and independent crop consultancy.
Serviced-based agronomists work for crop input distribution companies. They recommend the products their companies are selling and take a salary from these sales.
Independent Crop Consultants (eg AICC members) are employed by their farmer clients to give all-round agronomic and strategic advice, and are paid by a separate consultancy fee. The clients are then able to purchase products through buying groups, or from wherever they choose, at competitive prices. This is an openly transparent system, enabling the clients to differentiate between what they are paying for their advice and what they are paying for their crop inputs.
We believe that employing an AICC Crop Consultant enables farmers to receive the best possible independent agronomic advice with the ability to purchase their crop inputs at the most competitive prices.WHO ARE WE? AICC TRIALS
