New tool means farmers and beekeepers can BeeConnected this season

23 September 2016

BeeConnected is a nationwide initiative that provides a more efficient and effective way for farmers to inform beekeepers of their intention to apply an insecticide.

Advantages of using the BeeConnected website:

 •  Receive accurate and up to date information of a spray event happening in the area

 •  Provides direct contact from local farmers rather than via a Spray Liaison Officer

•   Simple notification system that enables a timely response

•   Provides opportunity to establish a relationship with local farmers

•   Supported by the British Beekeepers Association and National Farmers Union Visit
