AICC SURVEY RESULTS ON CSFB DAMAGE

The AICC in house survey on the likely impact of CSFB in this seasons Oilseed Rape crop conducted in March in conjunction with Farming Online, showed that over 60% of growers are seriously considering dropping oilseed rape from the rotation.  

The survey found 82% of agronomists are seeing higher larvae numbers in this year’s crop, compared to spring 2018, with the south of the country being hit particularly hard. Crop loss as a result of CSFB have reached 10% in the south east, and 17% in the south west, where high levels of CSFB damage in the autumn were recorded.
